This is a type poster for the font ITC Avant Garde. My goal was to encapsulate the history and showcase the design of the font. The color scheme was taken from the original Avant Garde magazine spreads, then modified to be more modern. I wanted to highlight the ligatures and interlocking letterforms with the graphic and emphasized that with the color blocks in the background.
